POCN Awards Nurse Practitioner and Mobile Clinic Founder as 2022 Q4 NP/PA Community Advocacy Award Winner
Jordana Latozas RN, MSN, ACNP, was selected for her dedication to providing access to healthcare and addiction services to her patients and underserved populations across southeastern Michigan.
PARSIPPANY, N.J. – January 24, 2023 – POCN, the largest nurse practitioner (NP) and physician associate (PA) network in the U.S., has named Jordana Latozas RN, MSN, ACNP, as its 2022 Q4 NP/PA Community Advocacy Award winner. The quarterly award program aims to recognize and support NPs and PAs who go above and beyond for their peers and respective communities. Latozas is a nurse practitioner and the owner and operator of Recovery Mobile Clinic, a nonprofit organization that provides access to healthcare and drug/alcohol recovery services across southeastern Michigan.
Latozas has more than 15 years of experience as an NP across intensive, palliative and acute care. In 2020, she founded Recovery Mobile Clinic with the goal to deliver high-quality medical services to the region’s underserved communities. The clinic increases access to general medical services typically found in a brick-and-mortar office, with a focus on a narcotic-free drug and alcohol addiction program. Latozas and the clinic provide treatment options that have been proven effective in decreasing relapse rates while increasing treatment availability to a population who is largely under-served.

To support Latozas’ work as an NP and advocate for community care, POCN is donating to the Recovery Mobile Clinic’s Patient Recovery Fund that enables patients to receive financial assistance for medication copay or treatments that would otherwise be cost prohibitive. The fund is key to promoting recovery, encouraging change, and saving lives in southeastern Michigan.
